An injection moulding buyer isn’t really buying a shot of plastic — they’re buying a tool that has to be right, a polymer that has to survive the application, and a moulder who’ll hold the part across a long production run.
A first-time buyer weighing up tooling cost is a completely different conversation from an OEM re-sourcing an existing mould, yet most moulding sites talk to neither and just say “injection moulding services”.
